Christmas...Things I Love

MERRY CHRISTMAS
Starla Michelle from Pintrest

Well this is a little late, I have TSAD so get over it, fa la la la la!  Christmas, I'm sure like most of you, is my favorite Holiday.  Especially since now I have grand babies.  Even though they are 6 and 4 they will always be my babies.

Having TSAD makes it even more special because you never know if it's your last. I guess that applies to every day but Christmas is just special.  When my kids were little we had a Santa come on Christmas Eve bringing their gifts. We would watch out the window and wait for him to come. When my son was 23 he would ask how we pulled off getting a Santa to fly in the sled.  I told him there was no Santa in a sled, that it was just his imagination.  He said, "no way I know what I saw".  So I guess it worked. That's how special Christmas was.

Love the real looking Santa getting the gifts out of a black trash bag.  Let's not forget to mention the decor.

Waiting for Santa!

Christmas Eve is pretty special as well. We eat until we are going to pop. And of course drink until, well lots of drinks a flowing!  Hyped up babies knowing Santa was just hours away. Now that Emerson and Truett are old enough to appreciate Christmas it's going to be just as exciting!  My daughter has created her own traditions. She opens gifts Christmas mornings, and Santa's gifts are not wrapped, so they know which gifts are from him! Pretty smart!

Babies sitting by fireplace on future trampoline.

Emerson woke up at 4:45 and went into her parents room and said Santa got her a guitar and a karaoke  machine, which her parents told her to immediately get back in bed.  The babies got way to much stuff.  A trampoline being one of them (story to come).  We had one of the best meals I have ever had.  Beef Tenderloin, mashed potatoes, green beans, Channa's home made rolls and a wedge salad.  The perfect meal.  Now back to the trampoline... Mike insisted I go in the back yard to see the babies jumping on said trampoline. We made it off the patio and down to the grass where we hit a bit of a down fall and I took a flying leap, face first into a no hands full force face plant in the grass. Yes Christmas was perfect until that point.  There I laid in the grass, swollen claw crab, two black eyes and a bruised ego the size of the ginormous trampoline.

 Two black eyes.

Swollen crab claw.

Other people may not have had the happy Christmas we always do.

Joy to the world, all the boys and girls..........

Tis the season!

Wouldn't you???

Oh Santa!

So that's how my Christmas 2015 went.  All considered it was a great Christmas and the best is the babies loved every second.

Things that make me happy...Things I Love

After all the tragedy in Paris and San Bernadino, I just felt the need to post things that make me feel better.  I lived in California the first 18 years of my life, Florida for 5 and Texas the rest.  I grew up going to the beach. I'm not sure what it is about California that makes me feel like home, but it does. The beach, the air or the weather just feels like home to me, guess it always will.

Brown sand and life guards, so California.

Groovy.

Venice Beach.

HIPPY CHICK

For those that really know me aren't surprised I was the total hippy chick. Suede pants, ballerina shoes and flowing tops.  Long haired boy friends that always got poor innocent moi in some kind of trouble for doing something I shouldn't have been doing.  None the less it usually took place at the beach or some place I shouldn't have been.  Here are a few photos...

These photos are really not me, but this one could so be.  Oh my his shorts!

A hit of acid, a glass of wine. Hey she has the baby in a wrap. Don't be so judgey!

Florida Beaches

SEASIDE, FLORIDA

One of the things I love about Seaside is the different Pavilions leading to the beaches.

E and I dancing, so glad to be at the beach.  And look, I'm walking!

So the Shit Ass Disease is sucking it up big time.  I'm down to one half assed hand.  I have to depend on Mike for everything, and I mean everything.  I can't think without asking him if it's OK to fucking think.  I'm sure this is very hard on him,  but if he dare bitch I tell him I will change places with him anytime.  To be honest not sure I would.  That's enough of my pity party for now.....

Shit Ass Disease Walk.....Things I Love/Hate

Everyone wears a mask every day.  We just aren't as obvious as we are on Halloween.

The babies and me.  Yes that is Elvis in the background.  It was Halloween..

It was raining/misting and just an all around a shitty day?  Hell no!  That's how blessed I am!  I mean you can't imagine how miserable it was.  For God's sake my 86 year old mother, her boyfriend (he is 4 days younger, so he calls her his cougar) and 6 children under 6 walked three freaken miles, in the rain! That being said, I have to thank each and every single one of you.  Not to mention the hundreds of other people that came out to support there loved ones.  Wow just wow!

Now to brag a little... All Channa's hard work in designing and ordering T Shirts paid off.  We won first place in T Shirts.  Now if you knew how many people were in this walk, you would know how impressive this is!!  But then again, it's Channa and I love her so much!

It has really been a really shitty week.  First I had a appointment with my neurologist and he said my crab claw is definitely the Shit Ass Disease.  He also said there is no magic pill to cure this Shit Ass Disease.  He is honest like that, ass hole!  He could at least lie to me.  Then I had a breathing test which came back as not quite as good as it's been.  Then the wheel chair people came out and pissed all over my parade.  I did my usual cry like a baby, take an ambien nap then wake up and think about the walk and it gets me through a while longer.

This is my group of drowned friends and family. Somehow my
Mom, Bob and Mike are missing? Aren't they beautiful!

Channa, Emerson and Truett receiving T-shirt award.

Mom and Bob.  She wanted to know why no one told her mask
was crooked.  What fun would that be?

The girls!

The young girls!

The babies.

Beginning of walk.  Still have a half-assed smile on my face.

Smile not so much.  Who thought it was a good idea to drive 3 miles?

Yes I am as thrilled as I look.  Check out the attempt to make the
Elvis hand with the grab claw!

Bob (Luigi) with his fake mustache.

My beautiful mom and daughter.
