Christmas...Things I Love

MERRY CHRISTMAS
Starla Michelle from Pintrest

Well this is a little late, I have TSAD so get over it, fa la la la la!  Christmas, I'm sure like most of you, is my favorite Holiday.  Especially since now I have grand babies.  Even though they are 6 and 4 they will always be my babies.

Having TSAD makes it even more special because you never know if it's your last. I guess that applies to every day but Christmas is just special.  When my kids were little we had a Santa come on Christmas Eve bringing their gifts. We would watch out the window and wait for him to come. When my son was 23 he would ask how we pulled off getting a Santa to fly in the sled.  I told him there was no Santa in a sled, that it was just his imagination.  He said, "no way I know what I saw".  So I guess it worked. That's how special Christmas was.

Love the real looking Santa getting the gifts out of a black trash bag.  Let's not forget to mention the decor.

Waiting for Santa!

Christmas Eve is pretty special as well. We eat until we are going to pop. And of course drink until, well lots of drinks a flowing!  Hyped up babies knowing Santa was just hours away. Now that Emerson and Truett are old enough to appreciate Christmas it's going to be just as exciting!  My daughter has created her own traditions. She opens gifts Christmas mornings, and Santa's gifts are not wrapped, so they know which gifts are from him! Pretty smart!

Babies sitting by fireplace on future trampoline.

Emerson woke up at 4:45 and went into her parents room and said Santa got her a guitar and a karaoke  machine, which her parents told her to immediately get back in bed.  The babies got way to much stuff.  A trampoline being one of them (story to come).  We had one of the best meals I have ever had.  Beef Tenderloin, mashed potatoes, green beans, Channa's home made rolls and a wedge salad.  The perfect meal.  Now back to the trampoline... Mike insisted I go in the back yard to see the babies jumping on said trampoline. We made it off the patio and down to the grass where we hit a bit of a down fall and I took a flying leap, face first into a no hands full force face plant in the grass. Yes Christmas was perfect until that point.  There I laid in the grass, swollen claw crab, two black eyes and a bruised ego the size of the ginormous trampoline.

 Two black eyes.

Swollen crab claw.

Other people may not have had the happy Christmas we always do.

Joy to the world, all the boys and girls..........

Tis the season!

Wouldn't you???

Oh Santa!

So that's how my Christmas 2015 went.  All considered it was a great Christmas and the best is the babies loved every second.

Christmas on...
